I ran a boba shop and built the tool I wished I had
Like most owners, I priced drinks by feel. A competitor charged $5.75 for a taro milk tea, so I did too. When the milk delivery went up, I knew it hurt, but not by how much, or on which drinks.
The spreadsheet I tried never kept up. It couldn't handle a large with oat milk and two toppings, and nobody had time to update it when the supplier changed a price.
So I built BiteMetrics: put in what you pay for ingredients and how you make each drink, and it shows the real profit on every drink, topping and size. When costs change, it tells you which drinks are hit and what to charge.
It's made for small, independent shops: one to three locations, owners who work behind the counter, and anyone who's ever wondered whether that cheese foam actually makes money.
